Last Tuesday 4th<\/sup> of February, the Foundation for Culture and Religious Tolerance (FCRT), through its General Director, Dr. Musabeh Saeed Alketbi, attended the \u00ab<\/strong> Interreligious encounter\u00bb<\/strong>,<\/strong> where reflections were held on the subject of \u00ab<\/strong>What do religions bring to the migration experience?<\/strong>\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n

In commemoration of the International Day of Human Fraternity and within the World Interfaith Harmony Week, the Episcopal Delegations for the Pastoral Care of Human Mobility and for Ecumenism and Interreligious Dialogue of the Archdiocese of Madrid and Arco Forum, organized this space for reflection to explore how religions enrich and sustain the experience of those who migrate and the societies that welcome them.<\/p>\n

The participation of FCRT\u2019s General Director, Dr. Alketbi, reflects the vision of the Foundation in the field of tolerance, peace, acceptance of the other with a peaceful international coexistence between societies to achieve a world full of feelings of peace, security and international stability.<\/p>\n

The meeting took place in the Parroquia Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de las Delicias, in Madrid, and was attended by prominent members of society. It was moderated by Jos\u00e9 Luis Segovia<\/strong>, Pastoral Vicar of the Archdiocese of Madrid, and was attended by Rufino Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, Delegate for the Pastoral Care of Human Mobility of the Archdiocese of Madrid as a Catholic representative, Mohamed Ajana<\/strong>, Secretary of the Islamic Commission of Spain as a Muslim representative, Jana Baena<\/strong>, Secretary of the Masorti Bet-El Community of Madrid as a representative of Jewish tradition, and Temir Naziri<\/strong>, Executive Director of Arco Forum as a representative of civil society.<\/p>\n

The final conclusion was given by Aitor de la Morena<\/strong>, Episcopal Delegate for Ecumenism and Interreligious Dialogue of the Archdiocese of Madrid. The meeting was enlivened by musical pieces from the Christian, Jewish and Muslim traditions.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, Dr. Alketbi<\/strong> presented a souvenir gift to Mr. Jose Luis Segovia, organiser of the event, expressing his sincere thanks to the speakers, the audience and the musical band of the three cultures.<\/p>\n
