The Director General of the Foundation for Islamic Culture and Religious Tolerance (FICRT), Hon. Mr. Musabah Saeed Al Katibi, received, at the headquarters of the FICRT Foundation in Madrid, the delegation of the People’s Consultative Assembly (Parliament of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia) and members of the diplomatic corps of the Indonesian Embassy in Spain.
During this meeting, Al Katibi presented a summary of the initiatives and work of the main bodies of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP), namely the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) and the committees of the General Assembly. He also highlighted the GCTP’s efforts to promote the values of peace and tolerance around the world. The general director of FICRT highlighted the projects in the implementation of which the council is involved in different countries around the world, with a view to reinforcing coexistence and tolerance.
The general director of the FICRT Foundation explored the role and activities of the foundation in Spain, highlighting its participation in initiatives aimed at promoting the values of interreligious dialogue, peace and tolerance, regardless of nationality or religion. He presented a summary of the friendly relations between FICRT and the different religious institutions in Spain.
