The Foundation for Islamic Culture & Religious Tolerance (FICRT) is an entity of public interest whose statutory purposes approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture are: to promote interfaith dialogue within a framework of tolerance and integration, as well as to promote cultural mediation through the dissemination of knowledge of Islamic language, culture and civilization.
These goals imply a long-term commitment to Spanish civil society to promote the value of religious tolerance among people of all cultures and religions, and to encourage best practices in the areas of coexistence, sustainable development, cooperation, solidarity, respect for values and cultural diversity.

Conducting courses and seminars to promote knowledge of cultural and diverse aspects related to Islam (history, literature, law and economics, sociological, anthropological and religious aspects, Arabic language, art and handicrafts).
Publication of books, magazines, brochures and printed or digital material related to the purposes of the Foundation.
Organization of exhibitions, shows and events inviting artists, intellectuals and university professors in order to disseminate the diverse and plural cultural aspects of the Islamic civilization and its interrelation with other cultures.
