The new ambassador of the League of Arab States in Madrid, Malek Twal, visited the headquarters of the FICRT Foundation on June 29, where he was welcomed by its president, Jumaa AlKaabi.
Jumaa AlKaabi, president of the FICRT Foundation, and Hassan Handi, president of the Abrazando Ilusiones Foundation, signed a collaboration agreement on June 24 during the latter’s visit to the FICRT headquarters.
On May 11, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Spain, Muhammad Najib, paid a visit to the FICRT Foundation’s headquarters and met with the Foundation’s President, Jumaa AlKaabi, over breakfast.
“Religions must advocate for peace, and in order to achieve peace, religious freedom and peace agreements must be respected”. The First Cordoba Forum ‘From Islam-Christian Dialogue to the Abrahamic Family,’ held on May 16 and 17 at Casa rabe’s headquarters, opened its doors with this message from Jumaa Alkaabi, president of the FICRT Foundation. It was coordinated by Professor Mohammed Dahiri, with the assistance of the University of Cordoba’s Unesco Chair of Conflict Resolution and the Complutense University’s University Institute of Religious Sciences.
The first panel of the Cordoba Forum featured presentations by Nedal Alteneiji of the Zayed House of Islamic Culture in the United Arab Emirates and Francesc Xavier Marn Torné, PhD in Philosophy from Ramón Llull University, who discussed the spirituality of Abraham’s fidelity. The moderator was Dr. Mara ngeles Gallego, senior scientist at the CSIC’s Institute of Languages and Cultures of the Mediterranean and Near East.
The FICRT Foundation’s First Cordoba Forum’s second session was dedicated to highlighting the common points that unite the major religions and featured three speakers who delved into these issues from the perspectives of Islam, Christianity, and Buddhism. This session was moderated by Dr. Francisco Javier Fernández Vallina, professor of Hebrew and Aramaic Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid.
The first Cordoba Forum “From Islam-Christian Dialogue to the Abrahamic Family”, organised by the FIRCT Foundation at Casa Árabe, continued its afternoon session with a new panel that highlighted interreligious dialogue and coexistence in various countries, including Argentina, Morocco, and Indonesia.
