The new ambassador of the League of Arab States in Madrid, Malek Twal, visited the headquarters of the FICRT Foundation on June 29, where he was welcomed by its president, Jumaa AlKaabi.
The ambassador was accompanied by his predecessor, Bachar Yaghi.
During the visit, the president of FICRT showed the diplomats the Foundation’s facilities and updated them on some of the new projects that are underway.
In the subsequent meeting, Ambassador Twal was informed about the activities carried out by the FICRT Foundation and possible scenarios of collaboration between the Foundation and the Embassy of the Arab League in various fields related to tolerance, dialogue, coexistence, as well as the teaching and promotion of the Arab language and culture.
The League of Arab States or Arab League is an intergovernmental organization that brings together a total of 22 states from the Middle East and the Maghreb. Based in Cairo, Egypt, its main objective is to serve the common good, ensure better conditions, guarantee the future and fulfill the wishes and expectations of all Arab countries.
The current representative of the Arab League in Spain, Jordanian diplomat Malek Twal, replaced Bashar Yaghi, who completed his term in 2021.
