The FICRT Foundation is organising its Spain-UAE exchange programme once again, with the goal of promoting tolerance values through knowledge of other cultures.
This programme is aimed at a group of interested individuals who will be chosen based on certain criteria to visit the United Arab Emirates in December to learn about Arab culture and civilization, as well as the role it plays in promoting tolerance values, and to learn about Emirati Arab and religious culture.
Similarly, in October/November, a group of students and researchers from the UAE will travel to Spain to take part in the same programme and gain cultural and linguistic immersion in our country.
The FICRT Foundation’s objectives for this initiative are to make known to Spanish and European society the Islamic cultural legacy of the State of the Emirates, promoting the values of religious tolerance; to allow students, teachers, researchers, and experts to have the experience of living in an Arab country with people from that country through a cultural programme that will deepen the historical ties between the two countries; and to educate young people from the UAE and, in the future, other Arab countries about Europe’s cultural and social realities.
